I had wanted to learn Mandarin for quite some time, but I didn’t know where to start. With the thousands of characters, the subtle intonations, and learning a whole new vocabulary … it seemed overwhelming just to think about it. Last summer when I was in Taiwan, I resolved to finally start learning and luckily for me, I found Daniel. He not only was sensitive to my learning needs – designing and pacing his lessons accordingly – but his patient and down-to-earth personality put me at ease. He even created a series of fun exercises that I could do on my mobile phone. After a month of lessons with Daniel, I was surprised at just how much I learned! I would highly recommend him to anyone, beginner or otherwise.
